Claire Alkire

Claire Alkire provides personalized, empathetic service that honors what matters most to each person. As a Philanthropic Officer with the Center for Engaged Philanthropy team, Claire supports the development and administration of customized giving programs, legacy strategies, and multi-generational philanthropic engagement with the Orange County Community Foundation.

Claire is inspired by connecting people to their purpose. Prior to joining the Orange County Community Foundation team, Claire established proficiency in engagement strategies, building meaningful relationships, grant writing, and customizing outreach through her experiences at nonprofit organizations including Crystal Cove Conservancy, and most recently the YMCA of Orange County, where she received an inaugural Association Service Award.

Claire graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Management.
