New Leadership to Propel Community Initiatives
IRVINE, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2026) — The Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing community foundations, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Leslie Prado, MBA, as its new Senior Director of Community Impact. Prado brings over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, known for her ability to drive strategic vision and foster impact through community engagement.
In her new role at OCCF, Prado will spearhead the strategic direction and execution of the Foundation’s Vision 2030 Community Impact initiatives. Her responsibilities include guiding grantmaking across discretionary, field of interest, and scholarship funds, as well as staffing OCCF’s Community Impact and Legacy Oversight Board Committees. Prado’s leadership will ensure that OCCF’s resources align with community needs, advancing the Foundation’s mission in partnership with its donors and community partners.
Prado’s impressive track record includes directing large-scale, multi-site programs across California, leading cross-functional teams, and forging strategic partnerships to bolster community outcomes. Before joining OCCF, she served as the Senior Director of Programs at MyPath, a national nonprofit dedicated to youth financial capability and economic inclusion. Her prior roles at United Way and other community organizations have demonstrated her commitment to expanding financial wellness, economic opportunities, and support for vulnerable populations.
Prado holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from Concordia University.
