Donor & Community Engagement Officer

Mayra Chavez serves as a Donor and Community Engagement Officer working on various community impact initiatives, scholarships, and other special projects at the Orange County Community Foundation. Mayra supports all OCCF Scholarship programs, in partnership with Elaine Chen, and manages the countywide HEEF Scholarship and AVID Scholarship programs, serving as the main point of contact for scholars and donors. A Phi Beta Kappa Scholar and SAGE Scholar, Mayra Chavez graduated from UCI with a joint Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Studies and Criminology, Law and Society, and a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies.
