President

Tammy Tumbling brings over two decades of experience in management, corporate citizenship, utility operations and customer service to the her position as president combined with nearly five years of recent foundation management experience as the first executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF).

Tammy is responsible for providing strategic planning, oversight and timely execution for all business areas to ensure operational excellence in the areas of asset growth, communications, donor stewardship, community engagement, innovation & technology, people & culture, business continuity and risk management. In her role of president, Tammy also serves as a change agent and a thought partner for the CEO and Board leadership on execution of OCCF’s strategic goals.

Tammy supports diversity, equity and inclusion internally and externally as the founder of OCCF’s African American Alliance Fund, which provides grant funds to Black serving and Black led nonprofits in Orange County and surrounding communities for services in the areas of education, health, human services, economic and civic engagement, and professional development.

Tammy joined OCCF from Southern California Edison (SCE), where she held roles in utility operations, customer service, corporate citizenship, and government affairs. Prior to her tenure at SCE, Tumbling spent nearly a decade in the nonprofit sector at the Music Center of Los Angeles and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles.

Tammy earned her Master of Arts degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems from California State University Dominguez Hills. Tammy enjoys spending her free time with family and friends while serving her community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated.
