Funds at OCCF

African American Alliance Fund:  Founded by OCCF’s Executive Vice President & COO, Tammy Tumbling, the mission of the African American Alliance Fund is to raise awareness about systemic racism and support programs that advance African Americans within Orange County and surrounding communities. The fund intends to provide grant funds for services in the areas of education, health, human services, economic and civic engagement, and professional development as well as serve as a partner and convening space to raise and amplify the voices of Orange County’s Black community.

Anthony Michael Barajas Foundation Fund:  The Anthony Michael Barajas Foundation Fund was created to honor the life of Anthony Michael Barajas by donating to his areas of interest.

Arts and Culture Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation field of interest fund supports the growth and stability of the arts and cultural sector in Orange County.

AVID Scholarship Fund:  Partners with the Orange County Department of Education to provide an opportunity for graduating high schools seniors who participated in the AVID program.

Big Canyon Country Club Scholarship:  Big Canyon Country Club, in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation, has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational-technical school.

Brad Evans Foundation Fund:  Established in 2011, this fund provides scholarship assistance for graduating seniors of the Newport Mesa Unified School District who will be attending the University of California Berkeley.

Cal State Fullerton Black Student Scholarship Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation scholarship fund is intended to support Black students from Orange County and surrounding communities to pursue their college education at Cal State Fullerton.

Confie Enablement Fund:  The Confie Holding II Co, in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation has established a fund, the Confie Enablement Fund, in support of a scholarship program to assist employees.

Environment Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation field of interest fund supports programs and services that enhance environmental literacy and public understanding of Orange County’s environmental issues.

Excellent in Education Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation field of interest fund supports improving educational outcomes for youth, especially those facing barriers to academic success.

Family Foundation Alliance:  The Family Foundation Alliance is a group of local family foundations committed to learning and sharing together in order to maximize their philanthropic impact. Membership is open to family members, board members and full time executive directors of local private foundations.

Health and Wellness Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation field of interest fund supports prevention and early health intervention efforts for children.

HEEF Hispanic Education Endowment Fund:  HEEF’s mission is to improve access to higher education for OC Hispanic/Latino students. Through a collaborative of scholarship subfunds, the HEEF Scholarship Program offers competitive academic scholarships for OC high school and community college transfers and provides scholarships for OC college graduates to attend Law School. I Keep Dancing Fund:  The I Keep Dancing Fund was created to honor the memory of Julia Gardner by awarding scholarships to women.

Impact Philanthropy Group:  The Impact Philanthropy Group provides opportunities for donors to meet and learn from their peers how philanthropy can be integrated into their lives and the lives of their families.

Jabel Tinamit Training Center Fund:  The Jabel Tinamit Training Center is located in Panajachel, Guatemala. They provide libraries, computers and a reading program to encourage the habit of reading in children and adolescents.

Jake’s Out of Sight Faith Foundation Fund:  This fund started by Jake Olson raised funds to provide technology to blind schoolchildren.

KM Legacy Foundation FundThe KM Legacy Foundation was created in 2017 by Katharine Monson to raise money for brain cancer awareness & research and also to provide leadership opportunities for Fullerton Joint Union High School District students both during their time in high school and beyond.

Kyle Lyndee Bollar Legacy Fund:  The Kyle Lyndee Bollar Legacy Fund was created to honor the life of Kyle Bollar by donating to areas of interest to her.

Laguna Beach Urban Tree Fund:  The Laguna Beach Urban Tree Fund fund was established in 2018 in order to support the City of Laguna Beach’s tree replacement program through grants.

Lee Brennan Memorial Scholarship Fund:  Established in 1998 in memory of Lee Brennan. It provides scholarship assistance to graduating seniors of Aliso Niguel HS active in athletics as well as to high school seniors participating on a U.S. Southern Pacific Association dive team.

Luévano Scholarship Fund:  Since 1983, annual academic scholarships have been awarded to deserving Hispanic students in Orange County who have demonstrated economic need and academic potential to attend Catholic school.

OC Real Estate Luncheon Veterans Initiative: Benefits the health, Education, and Employment of Orange County Veterans through the Orange County Community Foundation’s Veterans Initiative.

Orange County Endowment Fund:  Support the enduring role of the Orange County Community Foundation in supporting critical needs and catalyzing sustainable community impact across Orange County.

Orange County Social Justice Fund: The Orange County Social Justice Fund was established with a vision that all residents should have full access to economic, political and social rights and opportunities regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other characteristics.

Orange County Veterans Services Initiative:  The Orange County Community Foundation is committed to embracing service members and integrating them back into civilian life through its Orange County Veterans Initiative.

Pacific Club Scholarship Fund:  The Pacific Club, in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation, has established a scholarship program to assist employees, employee spouses, and children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

Paige Gleeson Memorial Fund:  The Paige Gleeson Memorial Fund was established in 2006 by David Gleeson and Lynn Kanda in memory of their daughter Paige.

Powering Good Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation fund supports the vital work and mission of the community foundation – identify local needs, drive solutions to challenges, and partner with leaders and philanthropists to create impact.

Roosters Foundation Charitable Fund:  This fund was created by the Roosters Foundation of Orange County to support their mission of facilitating and encouraging lifelong friendships while performing charitable works on behalf of children in need.

Santa Ana Police Athletics & Activity League Fund:  The Santa Ana Police Athletic & Activity League is a comprehensive community program that focuses on building a bond between kids and cops through education, fitness and activities! Donations to the fund supports sending kids to summer camp and other youth development activities.

Sarah and Payton Chester Foundation Fund:  This fund was set up in memory of Sarah and Payton Chester to support underserved children.

Shady Canyon Golf Club Employee Scholarship Fund:  Shady Canyon Golf Club, in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation, has established a scholarship program to assist employees and their dependent children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

Special Needs Fund:  This Orange County Community Foundation field of interest fund supports programs and services that improve the lives of people in Orange County with special needs.

Ukraine Freedom Foundation Fund:  The mission of  the Ukraine Freedom Foundation Fund is to help the Ukrainian people maintain their democracy and sovereignty. The foundation will supply much needed humanitarian supplies such as sleeping bags, tents, medicine, pampers, blankets, baby formula for stressed mothers, and hopefully used cars and trucks; and proper life protecting gear such as headgear, thermal binoculars, Kevlar vests, survival kits and observation drones.

Uter Family Seeds of Love Fund:  The Uter Family Seeds of Love Fund was created to honor the life of Jeffrey Uter by donating to his areas of interest.

Ware Malcomb Foundation Fund: Ware Malcomb in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation, has established a scholarship program to assist employees who plan to continue their education in higher education.
