Become a Friend of the Foundation

We invite you to become a Friend of the Foundation to help support our mission to encourage, support, and facilitate philanthropy in Orange County. Specifically, Friends of the Foundation help OCCF in our efforts to strengthen and build the capacity of local nonprofits through:

• Site visits to 200 local nonprofits each year to see firsthand the needs and challenges they are facing and to offer guidance, feedback and resources to help them fulfill their missions as efficiently and effectively as possible.
   
• Workshops and presentations to community groups and nonprofit boards and staff on effective responses to the economic downturn, improving fund development capacity, strengthening leadership and improving long-term sustainability.
   
• Training and technical assistance in the area of planned giving to bolster the long-term sustainability of 32 agencies participating in our Legacy Partners and Nonprofit Sustainability programs.
