Collecting Your Scholarship Award

Once you are selected as a recipient for a scholarship award, you will need to submit several documents to claim your award payment. Scholarship awards are generally made in one installment. However, if the total award is equal to or greater than $3,000, your award will be divided into multiple payments. Please see below for the proper documentation to submit.

Scholarship Awards below $3,000
Scholarship awards below $3,000 are made payable in one installment. Scholarship checks are made co-payable to both you and your school, and will be sent to your school's financial aid office. To claim your award, you must submit the following:
1. Completed and signed Scholarship Award Agreement
2. Valid proof of enrollment

Scholarship Awards $3,000 and above
Scholarship awards $3,000 or more are divided into two or more installments (see your Award Agreement for details). Scholarship checks are made co-payable to both you and your school, and will be sent to your school's financial aid office. To claim your first installment you must submit:
1. Completed and signed Scholarship Award Agreement
2. Valid proof of enrollment

Each subsequent installment will occur upon your successful completion of a quarter/semester at your school until your award has been expended. To claim each subsequent installment, you must submit:
1. Transcript of grades from your most recent quarter/semester
2. Valid Proof of Enrollment for your next quarter/semester

Valid Proof of Enrollment
Any unaltered document issued by the school that includes the following:
1. Student’s name
2. School's name
3. Quarter/semester that you are enrolled
4. Number of units in which you are enrolled (minimum of 12) or your classification as a full-time student

-This may include a printout of your online class schedule as long as it includes all of the above requirements.

Transcript of Grades
Any unaltered document issued by the school that includes the following:
1. Student’s name
2. School's name
3. GPA for your recent quarter/semester
4. Quarter/semester that the GPA is valid

-You do not need to submit an official transcript as long as the document you provide includes all of the above requirements.
