The Orange County Community Foundation’s flagship accomplishment is its permanent endowment of $48.3 million. Of that, $16.4 million is held in unrestricted endowment, which the community foundation board can direct to the most pressing needs of the community. The remainder is comprised of field-of-interest funds and donor-advised funds, which are established by individuals, families or businesses to provide charitable gifts annually or whenever the donor wishes.
